    Reporting directly to the Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost, the executive assistant provides administrative, operational, and executive support, accommodating shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment to facilitate the Provost’s ability to effectively lead Academic Affairs. Typical hiring range for this position is $65,000 to $84,000 commensurate with qualifications and experience.

    Qualifications:

    Required:

    • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in experience and training.
    • Three or more years of relevant and progressively responsible administrative work experience in a college or university, or similarly complex public or private organization.
    • Demonstrated ability to perform complex tasks, prioritize, and organize multiple projects.
    • Demonstrated ability to analyze, summarize, and effectively present data.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with a wide range of individuals and constituencies in a diverse community.
    • Ability to take initiative and identify, propose, and deploy systems to enhance organizational management.
    • Demonstrated proficiency in typical office technology and software programs, including presentation development.

    Preferred:

    • Master’s degree.
    • Experience reporting to and supporting a senior executive, or work in the office of a CEO or president.
