Public Relations Manager
Vladimir Jones is seeking a mid-level PR professional to grow the agency’s business and boost its
reputation and influence through content marketing and social engagement, speaking
engagements, media relations, and new business development. This position reports directly to the
agency CEO and carries the responsibility of representing the agency positively and holistically to
the advertising industry, current and prospective clients, and current and prospective employees
and partners. Setting the individual and agency up for success with this program will be someone
who comes to the role with a growth mindset; a self-starting, collaborative working style; the ability
to think tactically and creatively; and excellent writing skills.
Responsibilities include:
Agency-Specific PR:
• Develop and implement comprehensive PR strategies to enhance the agency’s public image
and brand recognition.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with key media contacts, industry influencers, and
stakeholders.
• Manage the agency’s social media presence and website content to ensure consistent and
engaging communication.
• Planning agency and executive thought leadership content
• Writing and editing blog posts, social content and email newsletters re: thought leadership
and agency news
• Coordinate and oversee agency events, such as press conferences, award ceremonies,
speaking opportunities, and industry seminars.
• Writing and editing client-work case studies.
• Craft and disseminate press releases, media pitches, and other PR materials to secure media
coverage for the agency.
• Supporting the new business team with proposal writing, asset collection and delivery, and
presentation execution
• Collaborating with relevant internal teams (Account Service, Insights and Strategy, Creative,
Production and Digital) on daily tasks.
Client PR:
• Collaborate with account leadership and clients to understand their PR needs and
objectives.
• Design and execute tailored PR campaigns for clients, ensuring alignment with their brand
identity and marketing goals.
• Monitor and analyze media coverage to measure the effectiveness of PR campaigns and
provide clients with regular reports.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for media inquiries and manage crisis communication
for clients.
• Develop and maintain media lists, pitch story ideas, and secure placements in top-tier media
outlets for clients.
Project Management:
• Lead and manage multiple PR projects simultaneously, ensuring all projects are completed
on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, deliverables, and resource
allocation.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including creative, digital, and account management, to
execute PR campaigns effectively.
• Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and mitigating any risks or issues
that may arise.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in public relations, preferably within an advertising
agency or related industry.
• Proven success in developing and executing PR campaigns.
Strong network of media contacts and industry influencers.
• Exceptional research, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in social media platforms, content management systems, and PR analytics tools.
• Working knowledge of SEO (keywords, keyword density, meta descriptions, etc.).
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, and fix problems quickly.

The annual salary for this position is $65,000 - $75,000.
