Buyer Coordinates activities involved with procuring goods and services, for example raw materials, equipment, tools, parts, supplies, and advertising, for establishment: Reviews requisitions. Confers with vendors to obtain product or service information, for example price, availability, and delivery schedule. Selects products for purchase by testing, observing, or examining items. Estimates values according to knowledge of market price. Determines method of procurement, for example direct purchase or bid. Prepares purchase orders or bid requests. Reviews bid proposals and negotiates contracts within budgetary limitations and scope of authority. Maintains manual or computerized procurement records, for example items or services purchased, costs, delivery, product quality or performance, and inventories. Discusses defective or unacceptable goods or services with inspection or quality control personnel, users, vendors, and others to determine source of trouble and take corrective action. May also approve invoices for payment. May also expedite delivery of goods to users.

§ Purchasing:

• Responsible for Issuing, Tracking, and Receiving of all Goods/Services into BTC.
• Responsible for Bidding and Negotiating all Parts/Services for the benefit of BTC.
• Manage all Open/Closed Purchase Order Numbers. Purchase Orders Numbers must have the results of all Bids for that part/service.
• Purchase Orders above the amount $300.00 require Signature of Approval.
• All Goods to be received at the Office.
• Maintain and Build Relationships with Necessary Vendors.
• Minimum 2 years Purchasing Experience within a Manufacturing Environment
• High School Diploma or GED Required · Associates or Bachelors Degree with Focus in Business Preferred.
• Pay is based upon experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.04 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
