We are working on opening our second location here in Roswell, NM. We are an organization run by modular industry veterans, and we make a high end, versatile, quality product. We offer great company culture, competitive pay, and comprehensive benefits. The Purchasing Manager at the Roswell location will report to our VP of Logistics & Procurement at our SC plant. 

Title: 

Purchasing Manager

Reports To: 

COO & VP of Logistics & Procurement

Purpose:

Oversee planning, procurement, control, inventory, and distribution of materials and products according to company needs and customer requirements.

Business Outcomes:

• Achieving material cost targets
• Production supply without interruption

Essential Functions:

Day to day management: Ensuring material receipt and organization, interaction with vendors, creation of PO’s, collaborating with engineering and production on material needs

Vendor Relations: Maintain positive and beneficial relationships with a variety of vendors, sourcing building components for our product

Cost Control and budget awareness: Staying constantly aligned with budget goals and keeping tabs on industry trends. Purchasing from providers that will supply highest quality product at lowest cost.

Materials Planning: Ensuring materials are ordered and arriving in a timely manner in relation to production, and ownership of their correct usage.

Overseeing Shipping & Receiving Department: Accounting for all material coming in and out. Training and managing material handlers. 

Required Skills & Abilities: 

• Good organizational and planning skills
• Good verbal and written communications skills
• Proficient with inventory reporting systems
• Experience with purchasing management
• Contract negotiation 
• Ability to report regularly to senior management who will not be on site
• Ability to travel for paid training in Greenwood, SC. 

Education & Experience:

• 3-5 years experience in material control, purchasing, buying, inventory, or related field
• Degree in business, communication, or related field a plus
