Challenging IT Quality Assurance Analyst Opportunity
Job Responsibilities
Quality Assurance Procedures: Conduct procedures to ensure IT systems, products, and services adhere to minimum standards.
Collaboration: Work closely with the applications development team across various areas including applications development, technical support, and security.
Change Control: Administer change control processes to ensure flawless software development.
Documentation: Document testing data, findings, and reports accurately.
Database Management: Create and maintain a database for historical purposes.
Reporting: Provide regular weekly/bi-weekly/monthly reports and updates to assigned manager/supervisor.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and develop future configuration models.
Quality Analysis: Perform workflow analysis and propose quality improvements.
QA Practices: Recommend new and improved QA practices and procedures.
Mentorship: Provide guidance and training to new or lower-level staff.
Supporting Materials: Assist in preparing QA documents, manuals, training curriculum, and training sessions.
Please note that additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Requirements- Proficient knowledge of agency IT/business systems and related regulations.
- Familiarity with QA testing and reporting procedures.
- Extensive understanding of applications development, technical support, and security programs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities.
- Experience with JIRA and writing test cases.
Potential for supervisory responsibilities based on agency requirements.
Work Complexity
Exercise judgment in selecting appropriate guidelines, analyzing multiple variables for medium to complex enterprise-wide systems.
Interpersonal Skills
Collaborate with agency personnel and stakeholders to achieve assigned tasks and deliver exceptional customer service.
Physical Effort
Expected to work in an office environment, involving extended periods of sitting.
