The ideal candidate is a critical thinker who will proactively improve the quality systems of the company through internal audits, participation in process improvement programs, and interaction with key partners to obtain constructive feedback.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for developing, leading, and managing the QA Roadmap
• Focus on product and process reliability and consistency for all core processes.
• Applies APQP process for all new product launches
• Drive quality continuous improvement using KPIs to drive improvement initiative and reduce and repeat issues.
• Leads corrective/preventative action process using structured problem-solving tools such as Lean Six Sigma, 5-Why Analysis, Cause & Effect Diagrams, Process Mapping and Error Proofing, and 8D Root Cause Analysis.
• Develops and analyzes statistical data and product specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy of finished product.
• Formulates and maintains Quality Assurance objectives complementary to corporate policies and goals.
• Creates, implements, and manages Quality Control Plans to ensure compliance and product/process consistency and reliability.
• Provides Quality Assurance activity for product throughout production cycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Technical Diploma in Quality Management preferred or equivalent experience with a proven track record of results.
• Experience with FMEAs, Control Plans, SOP, Process and Product Audits; Internal Auditing, etc..
• Strong data analytics skills to work through problem data and systemize in a way to help drive root cause and corrective action, as well as continuous improvement.
• Lean manufacturing principles understanding/experience
• Prior experience as a supervisor or manager in the manufacturing industry.
