1. Job Summary: Under the direction of the Quality Assurance (QA) Manager, the QA Supervisor is responsible for the food safety and quality assurance programs and staff for the Salina Processing Plant (SPP) facility.
2. Essential Functions:
a. Manages, implements and is responsible for the SPP food safety and quality programs in conjunction with QA management.
b. Supervises and manages SPP QA staff.
c. Participates in routine third party and customer audits, as directed.
d. Assists QA management in resolution of product / customer complaints.
e. Supervises and manages product code entry and inventory management system in conjunction with QA management.
f. Performs such other duties as may be assigned.

n. Knowledge of and ability to write, administer and maintain a variety of QA programs.
o. Good analytical skills (proximate analysis, microbiological testing, etc.)
4. Qualifications:
a. Working knowledge of USDA requirements.
b. Previous management experience in a USDA inspected facility.
c. Previous supervisory experience required.
