The Quality Control Supervisor oversees the testing, incoming inspection, and samples coordination teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency by establishing and implementing excellent quality standards and procedures. This position ensures high performance and accountability, including training, reviews, balancing workload schedules, and driving continuous compliance, process, and efficiency improvements ensuring the timely processing of incoming materials and manufactured items. The QC Supervisor evaluates existing processes, recommends revisions, and conducts audits to ensure compliance to GMP and customer requirements. This position coordinates cross functionally with departments across the organization to meet manufacturing standards and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise the workflow, training and development of staff for incoming inspection and samples coordination
• Working closely with Planning department on prioritization topics
• Act as subject matter expert (SME) for GMP QC topics
• Assist in Quality System development; Write, revise, and periodically review processes and SOPs
• Review RM testing requirements, testing, investigate issues as necessary, and work with vendors on SCARs
• Oversee testing equipment for incoming materials
• Manage the weekly expired list and rejections process

Experience and Skills required:

• College degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, scientific discipline preferred
• Strong critical thinking skills
• Attention to detail
• Good interpersonal and people skills
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Flexibility to adapt to business needs
• Microsoft Office proficiency
• Experience in FDA and understanding of GMP requirements
• 3-5 Years of related experience
