Business Development Consultant / On-Highway Trucks

Objective: To support the growth and expansion of TRIGO Quality Solution's on-highway truck portfolio with OEM's and their supply base by identifying and developing opportunities with new and existing customers for our Advanced Services in the assigned geographic area.

Business Development/Sales Role

Responsibilities:

• Be the face of TRIGO within the assigned market, territory, business stream or customer base
• Develop opportunities to accelerate growth
• Meet new business sales targets
• Proactively contact former, existing, and new clients to introduce TRIGO Advanced Services.
• Develop and maintain favorable relationships with decision makers
• Regular customer contact and communication
• Identify and qualify new opportunities for their potential
• Advise the sales and planning and deployment teams in order to prepare proposals / quotations
• Coordinate meetings, gather information and work with the team to present solutions
• Research local market, competition, customers, and prospects
• Track and report on all business development activities within the corporate CRM as activities occur.
• Maintain sales opportunity pipeline from identification of the opportunity through closure,
• Facilitate professional coordination, kick-off and transition of client to operations for delivery of service.
• Work closely with all members of the services team
• May visit customer site / locations with operations team

Required Experience:

• Experience in sales or delivery of technical services in a customer facing role at a supplier engaged with on-highway OEM truck customers
• Worked in an executive role with familiarity in high level ops/purchasing/quality/supply chain role experience at one or more of the on-highway truck OEM's
• Working familiarity of on highway truck (or other relevant industries) quality systems such as TS-16949 or ISO 9001

Required Personal Skills:

• Self-motivated/Self-starter, eager to take on new challenges and responsibilities
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
• Experience working independently and within a team environment
• Excellent understanding and application of the English language (both written and verbal) in a professional setting
• High degree of business acumen displaying a professional demeanor
• Able to communicate professionally and effectively with people from a broad range of positions and backgrounds
• Honest, committed, trustworthy with strong integrity

This position offers a base compensation package plus the ability to earn an annual performance bonus based on achievement of market sales and growth metrics.
