Job Summary: Serves as an internal subject matter expert and resource for clinical quality of care programs, policies, procedures and processes. Responsible .for the hospital’s compliance with accreditation ion, regulatory and governmental standards for all clinical areas. Oversees the patient experience function and handling of patient grievances. Serves as the management representative to the Quality and Performance Improvement (QAPI) Committee of the Board. Participates in the organization-wide performance improvement projects program (PIPs). Reports quality data, adverse events and clinical outcomes as requested or required by various internal and external parties.
Starting at $88,000.00 Annually
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college and licensed as a Registered Nurse required. MSN preferred.
2. Ten years of nursing experience in a healthcare facility with five years in a behavioral health organization.
3. Five years of experience conducting clinical chart audits, analyzing results, compiling data and developing action plans.
4. Must have the ability to work independently, demonstrate critical thinking skills through the use of the Nursing process and provide education and resources to the organization.
5. Must exhibit a high degree of professional excellence characterized by sound independent judgement, initiative and a high standard of ethics.
6. Computer literacy required, including experience using spreadsheets and databases and report writing. Microsoft product knowledge highly preferred.
