Summary of Responsibilities

The Super Intendant’s role is to oversee and control residential construction projects from start to finish. With your strong background in construction management and leadership skills, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are executed on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards. Our goal for Colonial Construction’s Super Intendant is to work onthe project, not inthe project. While minor field work may be required, you will collaborate with trades and support staff to perform all site work through reliable planning, scheduling, and coordinating all the project’s resources. You are an integral member of the team to deliver an amazing product and experience for our clients.

Essential Functions

• Manage 1-3 projects in construction
• Manage your own daily schedules and weekly routines, balancing site and any off site duties
• Deliver projects on time and on budget, ensuring all contract obligations are satisfied
• Provide exceptional customer service and clear communication through walkthroughs and regular updates
• Develop and maintain good rapport with trade partners, city officials, and inspectors while advocating and negotiating solutions that benefit the company, client, and project.
• Control the scope of work and clearly communicate/negotiate any changes with trades and clients
• Collaborate with selections coordinator to ensure custom selections and materials make it to the jobsite on time
• Assist Design and Development by providing critical insight into projects early in the process
• Close out construction phase of a project by completing a final punch list, facilitating final walkthrough with the client

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $64,840.80 - $78,087.85 per year
