Store Manager:

Act as liaison between the store and owner, clearly communicating and reporting on the overall business and staff. Manage and promote all aspects of the business including buying, pricing, merchandising, loss prevention, tracking and managing staff. With leadership promote a high level of customer service and continually strive for innovative solutions. Capable of critical thinking and effective decision making.

Major area of responsibilities:

1) Meet or exceed financial goals, focusing on sales and overall profitability.

2) Maintain controllable expenses within established guidelines.

3) Drive sales through development of staff, focusing on training and role-modelling.

4) Promote culture of positive customer service to everyone, every day.

5) Maintain merchandising and visual presentation of store on a daily basis.

6) Manage, recruit, hire and train associates for all store positions.

7) Ensure all inventory functions are completed, including regular inventory counts.

Qualifications:

1) High School Diploma required, 4 year degree in business or retail management preferred.

2) Two plus years prior management and supervisory experience, plus retail sales experience, preferably in sports related industry.

3) Strong leadership skills, organizational skills, and time management skills.

4) Proven customer service skills and strong interpersonal communication skills required.

5) Sales and goal orientated.

6) Computer literate.

7) Able to work evenings and weekends.

Salary: $35,000.00 to $45,000.00 /year
