The Regional Human Resources Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. - I AM A GIVER
- Manage all employee relations issues that arise in the communities.
- Partner with on-site manager to recruit for open positions
- Manage benefits and COBRA
- Safety management, Workers' Compensation, and Leave Management for all communities in the regional portfolio
- Respond to unemployment claims and attend hearings as needed
- Partner with VP, HR, Regional VP, Operations, and local Executive Directors to provide strategic HR leadership to the communities.
- Management training and Relias tracking
- HR Reporting and analytics

- BA/BS degree in HR, 8 years of HR experience, 5 in multi-site management
- SPHR/PHR certified
- Advanced knowledge of HR practices and legal/regulatory framework
- Advanced employee relations, talent, and management development skills
- Advanced knowledge of FMLA ( State), EEO, ADA, FLSA, COBRA, Title VII, Wage & Hour and all areas of compliance
- Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills
- Advanced presentation, motivation, leadership, and strategic management skills
- 50% Travel. Working from all locations
- Understand the importance of maintaining a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with team members, residents, family members, and visitors.
