Regional Human Resources Manager designs, plans, and implements human resources programs and policies, including staffing, compensation, benefits, visa/green card processing, employee relations, training, and health and safety programs for a region within an organization. Ensures existing programs in compliance with government regulations. Being a Regional Human Resources Manager may lead the work of Human Resources Business Partners. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Regional Human Resources Manager typically reports to a Director or top executive. The Regional Human Resources Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes.     SIGNIFICANT TRAVEL IS REQUIRED THROUGHOUT THE MIDWEST REGION WHICH COULD COVER COMMUNITIES IN NORTH DAKOTA, SOUTH DAKOTA, AND OKLAHOMA.

    Duties for this position will include, but are not limited to:

    • Manage all employee relations issues that arise in the communities.
    • Partner with on-site manager to recruit for open positions
    • Manage benefits and COBRA
    • Safety management, Workers' Compensation, and Leave Management for all communities in the regional portfolio
    • Respond to unemployment claims and attend hearings as needed
    • Partner with VP, HR, Regional VP, Operations, and local Executive Directors to provide strategic HR leadership to the communities.
    • Management training and Relias tracking
    • HR Reporting and analytics

    The Ideal Candidate Will

    • BA/BS degree in HR, 8 years of HR experience, 5 in multi-site management
    • SPHR/PHR certified
    • Advanced knowledge of HR practices and legal/regulatory framework
    • Advanced employee relations, talent, and management development skills
    • Advanced knowledge of FMLA ( State), EEO, ADA, FLSA, COBRA, Title VII, Wage & Hour and all areas of compliance
    • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills
    • Advanced presentation, motivation, leadership, and strategic management skills
    • 50% Travel. Working from all locations
    • Understand the importance of maintaining a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism.
    • Be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with team members, residents, family members, and visitors.
