Regional Sales Manager manages and directs a sales force to achieve sales and profit goals within a region. Manages multiple districts within a region and adjusts sales goals and procedures as appropriate for each district. Being a Regional Sales Manager designs and recommends sales programs and sets short- and long-term sales strategies. Evaluates and implements appropriate new sales techniques to increase the region's sales volume. Additionally, Regional Sales Manager collects relevant competitors' market information to increase sales volume and market share. May recommend product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Regional Sales Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Regional Sales Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.   • Position Summary

    • The candidate for this position can be based out of any state in the US.*** Drive video and broadband growth in MDU communities throughout the United States. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with our clients through personal integrity, sales, and product expertise. Recruit new partners and drive growth organically. Committed to finding additional revenue generating tactics. This position is also accountable for achieving individual sales and profitability goals for regional / major accounts. This position requires 5 years of MDU sales experience and specific telecommunication, satellite, or related electronics industry experience is preferred.

    • Assume full responsibility for all sales, activations, and business development for MDU products and services for regional/major accounts.
    • Must be able to consistently meet and exceed sales quotas and target goals.
    • Independently complete all aspects of the sales process, from inception to completion. Ensure that PerfectVision delivers on all objectives and commitments to business partners.
    • Maintain contact with business partners who require frequent interaction at the client’s site and within PerfectVision. Build and manage relationships across multiple clients at senior levels of the organization.
    • Attend trade shows, conferences or other industry-related events to help strengthen existing PerfectVision/client relationships, develop new relationships, remain current on industry issues, increase awareness of competitive offerings, and promote PerfectVision products and services.
    • Create new revenue opportunities. Identify new regional account prospects within the MDU/Broadband industry to establish new business partner opportunities. Market services and products to these clients.
    • Continually improve effectiveness and enhance productivity, efficiency and customer satisfaction.
    • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with other team members within the department and throughout the organization.
    • Perform miscellaneous clerical duties such as using SalesForce.com (CRM), scanning documents, answering correspondence and creating basic spreadsheets.
    • Regular and prompt attendance at work is a primary function and requirement of this position.
    • Travel required in the assigned Region. Travel 80%.

    Education

    • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)

    Experience

    • Five plus years of experience with MDU sales with demonstrated ability to increase revenues base. Must have experience in the full sales cycle and a proven track record closing deals in a professional manner
    • Previous sales experience in the Telecom industry is preferred but not required
    • Experience in Right of Entry sales in the MDU environment is required
    • Demonstrated strong work ethic along with high integrity, honesty, and professionalism.

    Computer Skills

    • Working experience using SalesForce.com or similar sales or customer relationship management databases.
    • Computer literate in a Microsoft Windows environment.
    • Microsoft Outlook – Intermediate level. Must have the ability to perform functions such as composing, sending, forwarding and replying to messages, attaching computerized files, utilizing calendar and task reminders, viewing several calendars, sharing calendars, creating and sending meeting requests, and creating contact lists.
    • Microsoft Excel – Intermediate level. Must have the ability to perform functions such as creating a spreadsheet, formatting a spreadsheet, using the formula bar to perform various functions, importing/exporting documents, and calculating numbers.
    • Microsoft Word – Intermediate level. Must have the ability to perform functions such as changing margin settings, page orientation, and paper size, insert headers, footers and non-text objects.
    • Internet Explorer or other web browsers – Basic level. Must have the ability to perform functions such as navigating through websites via hyperlinks and searching websites using various search engines.
    • Accurate typing skills, approximately 40 words per minute.
    • General knowledge of how to use a calculator, scanner, copy machine, fax machine, printer, telephone and various standard office equipment.

    Certificates & Licenses

    • Valid driver’s license with a clean and satisfactory driving record
    • Valid auto insurance coverage

    Other Requirements

    • Proficient in basic mathematical skills such as adding, subtracting, dividing, and multiplying.
    • Primary language used to perform this job is English. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Must be able and willing to travel overnight 3-4 days each week to locations within the assigned region or other regions as assigned.
