Regional Support Manager manages an operational support function in a specific geographic area providing guidance to branches on matters of compliance, service, and quality. Conducts routine and preventative quality assurance processes to monitor customer satisfaction and revenue results and ensure policy compliance for branches in designated region. Being a Regional Support Manager provides operational support and resources to investigate and resolve any problems or losses incurred in the day to day operations of branches. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Regional Support Manager typically reports to top management. The Regional Support Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. To be a Regional Support Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.   • SUMMARY:

    The Regional Business Support Manager will provide oversight, governance, and leadership for the operational support personnel in the region.   The functions within their span of control include business analytics, local IT application support, project level analytics, support processes, and operational reporting across assigned Engineering offices. Operational support to include:  facilities & vehicles management, SPOC to Corporate HR, administrative functions, and various office administration. Process support to include project setup, invoicing support, calculation of WIP, Accounts Receivable tracking, production of KPIs for use by Division and Regional leadership, financial analytics, regional budget development, workflow/work management processes, reporting and other business process support functions as assigned by the Division VP. The position also provides primary administrative leadership in storm response for the region.  This position reports to the Division VP.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

     Provide direct supervision and oversight for the regional Business Analysts, Regional Technology Coordinators, regional Operations Support staff, and Project Analytics team.

     Lead the operational support functions and employees across one or more offices.  These functions include:  supporting local leadership and as a liaison to HR, landlords, and corporate support staff.  Tasks may include: new employee orientation, facilities, office supplies, & vehicle management, office communications, project setup, time keeping, invoicing, WIP, and AR.

     Manage/develop models for reporting operational KPIs and information flow into weekly/monthly/quarterly performance reports including Utilization, Expense Reports, Customer Specific KPI’s, etc.

     Provide oversight and governance for regional operations usage of Replicon, QuickBase, Power BI, SunTrust, Taleo, and other corporate systems & technology solutions.

     Lead the analysis of current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, direct costs, expenses, and capital expenditures for the Division.

     Improve performance by evaluating processes to drive efficiencies and understand ROI in current and new LOBs, projects and offices including development of financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives and support management team, directors and VP with in-depth analysis of regional operations.

    Manages a team of support staff assigned to each Region VP and Directors to provide business support functions through a team of professionals and clerical staff.

    Required High schooldegree or GED.

     

    Required Associates degree(AA or equivalent from two-year college or technical school).

     

    Preferred A Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or University in Accounting, Business Administration or Engineering. 

     

     

    Experience

     

    3-5  Year(s) Experience in business analytics, project management, finance, or project controls

     

    CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

    None required 

    Preferred CPA, CMA, or Project Management Certification

     

    ON-THE-JOB TRAINING

    Training in accounting and project management systems used within Pike will be required. Time requirement for training will vary.
