Regulatory Affairs Specialist jobs in Vermont
Regulatory Affairs Specialist supports the oversight of regulatory matters and strategy implementation to ensure the organization complies with applicable regulations. Prepares filings and tracks applications for licensing, certification, and permits and interacts with governmental officials during the regulation and certification process. Being a Regulatory Affairs Specialist monitors compliance with existing regulations and upcoming or changing regulations. Performs impact analysis of regulatory changes and produces status reports. Additionally, Regulatory Affairs Specialist participates in processes to report, investigate, and addresses any issues of non-compliance. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Regulatory Affairs Specialist occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Posting SummaryProvide support for the regulatory aspects of clinical trial participation at the University of Vermont Cancer Center. Prepare and track regulatory documentation. Provide guidance and subject matter expertise to other members of the research team for regulatory and compliance aspects of conducting clinical research. Maintain documentation in compliance with federal and local regulations, and distribute materials to local and affiliate sites.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)Bachelor’s degree and one to three years related experience with or demonstrated ability to learn federal regulations and guidelines required. Ability to make independent decisions in a fast-paced, regulated environment required. Ability to work collaboratively with investigators, staff, and regulators required. Effective written and verbal communication skills and editorial skills required.
Desirable QualificationsExperience at an academic research organization, research certification (e.g., CCRP, RAC), familiarity with Click software, and experience related to oncology clinical trials desirable.
