Rehabilitation Director - Nursing Home jobs in Mississippi

Greenbriar Nursing Center is seeking a highly energetic, motivated self-starter to lead our Activity Department. Our ideal candidate would be creative and passionate about helping Long-Term Care Residents.

Requirements

• Activity Director Certification (Preferred)
• Long term care experience (preferred)
• 2 years of full-time experience in a social or recreational program (required)

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute activities and functions for our residents
• Develop and implement specific programs based on the needs of the residents
• Provide therapeutic activities tailored to physical, mental or psychosocial needs
• Perform assessments and keep up with documentation on residents in a timely manner
• Oversee the overall operation of the activity department including hiring, educating and directing staff.
• Serve on interdepartmental committees as necessary
