Rehabilitation Services Manager plans and implements the overall rehabilitation functions policies, procedures, and services. Ensures efficient and effective operations for physical therapy, sports medicine, occupational therapy and speech departments. Being a Rehabilitation Services Manager identifies services through program planning and facilitates program development. May require an advanced degree. Additionally, Rehabilitation Services Manager typically reports to a director. The Rehabilitation Services Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be a Rehabilitation Services Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Minimum Qualifications:- Minimum 3 to 5yrs experience in a supervisory role with a demonstrated knowledge of hospital nutritional delivery systems
- Knowledge of therapeutic diets
- Food Handlers permit(Serve Safe)
- ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification is required at the time of hire or will receive within 3 months of hire
