National Addiction Specialists is an outpatient clinic located in Brentwood, TN, offering telemedicine opioid addiction treatment programs. We use innovative technology to provide ease of care and remove barriers for our patients. Our treatment process includes three primary phases: induction, stabilization, and maintenance. By providing HIPAA-compliant telemedicine services, we aim to make overcoming addiction more accessible and convenient for individuals.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role. The Billing Reimbursement Director will oversee our billing and claims processing operations and drive data-driven process improvements. This leadership role will manage the billing team to ensure compliance, and leverage data analytics to enhance claims performance. Responsible for managing the billing process and revenue cycle management. The role involves utilizing analytical skills to ensure accurate and efficient finance and accounting practices related to billing and reimbursement.

Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic direction and operational oversight for claims processing across multiple payers
• Monitor performance metrics and identify opportunities for process optimization
• Leverage data analytics tools to analyze claims data, identify trends and generate actionable insights
• Ensure adherence to regulatory compliance, coding guidelines and revenue cycle best practices
• Develop and implement policies, procedures and workflows for efficient claims adjudication
• Develop reporting dashboards and visualizations to share key metrics with leadership
• Collaborate with IT, clinical, and business teams on systems improvements and integrations
• Manage relationships and resolve escalated issues with healthcare providers and payers
• Mentor, coach and provide professional development for team members

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business or related field
• 8 years of management experience in healthcare claims processing
• Deep understanding of claims operations, revenue cycle management and compliance
• Strong data analytics skills and experience using tools such as Excel and Tableau
• Proven ability to analyze data, synthesize insights and drive process improvements
• Excellent communication, presentation and leadership abilities
• Motivated team player with a customer-focused mindset
• Billing Process and Revenue Cycle Management skills
