Reimbursement Services Director jobs in Virginia

How you will contribute:

• Possess reimbursement technical skillsets for products such as Cost Reporting, Medicare and Medicaid DSH, Medicare bad debts, and other specialty reimbursement products.
• Support partners and principals with the management of complex engagements and serve as the key activity driver
• Investigate key client needs, regulatory changes, and competitive landscapes to inform enterprise strategic direction, strategy development, and priority-setting
• Define unique responses, through research and application to challenging client issues
• Develop engagement staff via real-time feedback, monitoring, and reinforcement
• Learn and develop new technical knowledge specific to our Healthcare Reimbursement advisory practice and the clients we serve within the industry

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university with an accounting, finance or healthcare related discipline
• 9 years or more of relevant experience in healthcare
• Previous experience in any/all of the following: Medicare & Medicaid Cost Report preparation, Medicare Bad Debt, Disproportionate Share Hospital (DSH) Payment Advisory, Wage Index and other specialized third party reimbursement knowledge
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, Cost Reporting Software

Preferred Qualifications:

• CPA License
