The Billing Specialist will work remotely, providing essential support to our team and clients.

    Responsibilities

    Execute billing and rate maintenance procedures with precision and timeliness.

    Produce accurate monthly bills and distribute them to clients promptly, adhering to established procedures.

    Compile, reconcile, and distribute monthly administrative billing reports to clients, ensuring accuracy.

    Prepare and balance billing statements meticulously.

    Analyze and report client information as needed.

    Enter and maintain billing rates in the benefits and COBRA system.

    Verify bill accuracy and promptly address any errors.

    Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate renewal and new group information.

    Maintain up-to-date billing records for groups on the online plan sponsor portal.

    Administer eligibility and verify accurate processing of transactions.

    Configure COBRA rates and maintain client changes timely.

    Support other departments with accurate eligibility information and data research.

    Provide exemplary customer service, addressing inquiries and issues promptly and professionally.

    Conduct quality assurance by reviewing and auditing work to ensure adherence to standards.

    Actively participate in meetings and process improvement initiatives to enhance quality and customer satisfaction.

    Required Qualifications

    High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's Degree preferred.

    2 years of industry experience in eligibility or client billing; relevant accounting experience considered.

    Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office; working knowledge of GBAS and Javelina software is advantageous.

    Excellent written and oral communication skills.

    Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks, and manage workload independently in a fast-paced environment.
