    CLC Engineering has an immediate opening for a dedicated Operations Manager to assist with scheduling, planning, forecasting, resourcing, and managing technical activities to ensure project accuracy and quality. The Engineering Operations Manager will manage engineering staff and oversight of work, budgets, project management plans and workload forecasting, assist with the development, implementation, and oversight of the strategic and annual business plan development. The Engineering Operations Manager will also provide engineering project support when needed. The applicant must be local or willing to relocate with assistance to Alexandria, LA.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum 4 Year Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering.
    • Professional Engineering Licensure. (Preferred but not Required)
    • Minimum of Five (5) Years in a Management or Leadership Capacity.
    • Superior knowledge of the Engineering and High Voltage Industry.
    • Problem-Solving and Conflict Management Skills.
    • Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills.
    • Excellent Organizational, Time Management, Leadership, and Decision-Making Skills.
    • Excellent Computer Literacy and Knowledge of Design and Visualization software. (Access Preferred)
    • Must be authorized to work for United States employer without sponsorship.
    • Ability to Communicate Effectively Both Orally and in Writing with Clients, Fellow Engineers, Designers, and Contractors.
    • Ability to Delegate and Schedule Projects to Engineers and Designers for Deadline Completion.
    • Expert in Leading Operational Excellence in Projects of Any Scale.
    • Experience Overseeing Operational Management Policies and Procedures.
    • Professional Engineering Licensure.
    • Travel up to 25%.

    Responsibilities:

    • Report to and Coordinate with Company President and Vice President on Creating Quotes for Prospective Projects, Building Relationships with Clients, Negotiating Change Orders, and Assuring Project Completion in the Best Interest of CLC Engineering, LLC.
    • Manages engineering staff and oversight of work, budgets, project management plans and workload forecasting.
    • Formulating Project Parameters and Assigning Responsibilities to the Most Capable Employees and Monitoring the Progression of Project Timeline.
    • Ensuring Project Compliance with Applicable Codes, Practices, Performance Standards and Quote Specifications.
    • Provide Project Engineering Assistance as Needed.
    • Act as Company President's "Right-Hand Man" Assisting with any Requested Tasks or Company Management Issues.
