Residential Care Medical Director plans and directs all aspects of clinical care at an assisted living or skilled nursing facility. Ensures that clinical programs operate in compliance with all applicable regulations. Being a Residential Care Medical Director provides patient consultations as needed and manages relationships between staff and attending physicians. Advises non-medical management on clinical and patient related matters and policies. Additionally, Residential Care Medical Director requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Requires a state license to practice medicine. Typically reports to top management. The Residential Care Medical Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Residential Care Medical Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. The position will function primarily in an administrative/program development role. The urgent care service line for HCA in the Las Vegas Market includes 17 clinic locations. As the lead physician for this team, it is important that the following traits and skills are demonstrated:

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
1. Residency in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Internal Medical or Med/Peds from accredited school of medicine or osteopathy program
2. MBA/MHA/MMM preferred
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
1. Five or more years practice experience in an urgent care setting
2. Previous leadership experience with multi-site clinics
3. Urgent care and occupational medicine experience
CERTIFICATION/LICENSE:
Eligible for licensure to practice medicine in NV, with Board Certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine or Med/Peds.
