Residential Living Supervisor supervises the work of a residential living staff. Provides training to resident assistants on proper care giving techniques. Being a Residential Living Supervisor may administer medications under the supervision of a nurse or physician. May require an associate degree or its equivalent. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision. Essential Functions- Monitor and control dormitory conditions; evaluate situations and conditions within the dormitories and make decisions or recommendations to management.
- Provide input to supervision regarding the performance of residential advisors assigned to dormitory.
- Perform administrative duties involving student passes, leaves, evaluations, progress reports, negative incident reports, emergencies and terminations
- Communicate with families of students by emails and phone as required to resolve problems and assure the well-being of students.
- Provide proper guidance to students to ensure positive group living relations and achievement in the program.
Education And Experience Requirements- HSD or equivalent
- 2 year experience working with youth and young adults.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer proficiency required.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
