Resteel Ironworker jobs in North Carolina
Resteel Ironworker installs reinforcing steel bars, cables, or wire in order to support concrete structures. May cut, bend, and/or weld steel construction materials. Being a Resteel Ironworker ensures proper placement and alignment according to blueprints and instructions. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Resteel Ironworker may be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Resteel Ironworker may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Job Description
As an Ironworker at Engineered Systems, your primary responsibility will be to assist in the erection and installation of structural steel components on commercial and industrial construction projects. You will work alongside a team of experienced professionals to ensure that our projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities Include- Reading and interpreting blueprints and shop drawings
- Operating hand and power tools
- Welding and fabricating steel components
- Performing rigging and hoisting operations
- Adhering to all safety guidelines and regulations
