Responsibilities:

• Coordinate staffing and work flow together with Truck Maintenance Foreman.
• Work with Accounting, and Safety Manager to managers of each department on an on-going basis to evaluate systems and processes.
• Ensure process improvement, employee relations and problem resolution to maximize production in respective areas of responsibility.
• Ensure compliance, safety and efficiency in order to produce and deliver the best product.

Trucks:

· Coordinating/Schedule with the leasing company and dispatch for all inspections, PMs, and repairs.

· Oversee long-term leases and short-term replacement vehicles.

· Assist Foreman in Maintaining files on all trucks.

· Approve all invoices.

· Assist in coordinating on-call after hours schedule for drivers with breakdowns.

Trailers:

· Work with Foreman to maintain inventory and location of all trailers.

· Oversee all repairs and refurbishment of the trailer fleet.

· Oversee truck shop inventory and costs.

· Maintain files on all trailers.

· Ensure all quarterly and annual inspections are completed.

· Communicate with other locations that have our trailers.

· Approve all invoices.

DOT

· Oversee and Review all driver daily inspections.

· Ensure all repairs are placed in file.

· Assist DOT consultant in auditing files and driver logs to ensure compliance.

· Register for Registrations and distribute

· Renew MCS150

· Register for Annual UCR

· Driver Gas Cards

· Managing EZ Pass responders and violations

· Managing Driver Tickets and Violations

· Work with Safety and HR to manage Driver Monthly Incentive

· Vehicle Roadside Inspections and Data Q as needed

Essential skills and experience:

• Experience in shipping/receiving environment.
• Department of transportation and fleet knowledge helpful.
• Strong organization and administrative skills.
• Self-motivated and responsible person.
• Ability to work independently and within a team framework.
• Good communication skills.
• Must have knowledge on Microsoft Office and Outlook.
