Retail & Commercial Tire Store Manager jobs in Maryland

Retail & Commercial Tire Store Manager plans and directs the day-to-day operations of a tire store/center that markets to both retail and commercial clients. Develops strategies to improve customer service, drive store sales, and increase profitability. Being a Retail & Commercial Tire Store Manager ensures customer needs are met, complaints are resolved, and service is quick and efficient. Hires and manages store personnel. Additionally, Retail & Commercial Tire Store Manager may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a director. The Retail & Commercial Tire Store Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Retail & Commercial Tire Store Manager typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     • Responsible for Road Service Call Center calls and managing all outside PM s and repairs.
    • Establish and monitor department KPI s and individual metrics continual improvement in productivity and customer service.
    • Review and approve high value and/or major repair estimates to ensure suggested repairs meet acceptable industry standards and that all applicable manufacture warranties have been applied.
    • Review Road Service work orders to ensure billing and task coding is accurate to all G/L accounts.
    • Monitor, on a daily basis, all inside and outside repairs while in process or post repair to capture unapplied warranties.
    • Analyze tire problems and advise customer as to solutions.  
    • Perform tasks to service employees in accordance with customer needs and employee skills.  
    • Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
    • Ensure adherence to all OSHA, and DOT safety regulations.  

    OTHER DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Other duties can and will arise, and candidate should be prepared to take on these challenges openly.

    REQUIREMENTS
    • Ability to work in a fast paced, demanding environment.
    • Must be able to work independently and also in a team environment doing other job duties as assigned.
    • Position may require work responsibilities outside of normal business hours and infrequent travel.
