Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Pricing Analyst to support our pricing strategy across various product lines and sales territories. The Pricing Analyst will work closely with our sales, product, finance, and marketing teams to analyze pricing data, identify trends, make recommendations, and implement pricing strategies that maximize our profitability while remaining competitive in the market.
Responsibilities- Analyze pricing data from internal and external sources to gain insights into pricing strategies and market trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product costs, sales trends, and market demands.
- Develop, analyze, and report on price variance, margin analysis, and pricing performance.
- Utilize pricing tools and models to determine optimal price points for various product lines
- Recommend pricing strategies that align with company objectives for revenue and profitability.
- Regularly review competitive positioning and market dynamics to ensure pricing strategies remain effective.
- Assist in the design and execution of pricing experiments to understand demand elasticity and price perception.
- Provide the sales and marketing teams with analytical support for pricing negotiations and proposals.
- Ensure pricing guidelines and strategies are adhered to, and flag any significant pricing issues to senior management.
- Recommend, implement, and verify pricing strategies are rolled out correctly across all channels

- Strong analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent understanding of pricing strategies, concepts, and practices.
- Ability to communicate complex data clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- 3-5 years of experience in a pricing, financial analysis, or similar role.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Math, Finance, Economics, or related field
- Familiarity with data analysis tools and software
- Experience with SQL or other data management systems
