Position: Tax Manager
We are currently seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join our growing Tax department. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of tax and accounting expertise to our team, with a focus on reviewing federal and state tax returns and effectively managing staff. We are looking for an individual who is not only proficient in their technical skills but also demonstrates exceptional interpersonal, communication, and leadership abilities.
Responsibilities- Review partnership tax returns, S corporations, and high net-worth individual tax returns, particularly within the real estate industry.
- Manage and coordinate tax compliance and consulting engagements, overseeing various related projects.
- Conduct research and provide guidance on complex tax matters.
- Stay updated on tax regulations, legislation, and industry trends to deliver proactive client service.
- Cultivate strong client relationships, offering insightful planning and consulting expertise while supporting Partners in service execution and development.
- Supervise, train, and develop staff members, effectively managing engagement workflow and team resources.
- Drive process improvement initiatives by implementing best practices.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent field.
- CPA License required.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive tax compliance and consulting experience in public accounting.
- Expertise in real estate tax topics, including partnership taxation, 1031 exchanges, and real estate depreciation methods, preferred.
- Strong knowledge of tax accounting, compliance, and various tax returns.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks is advantageous.
- Experience in team management, supervision, and staff mentoring.
- Excellent collaboration, communication, organization, and analytical skills.

The estimated salary range for this position is $110,000 to $160,000, with individual compensation determined by factors such as experience, education, licensure, and qualifications. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package and performance awards based on merit.
