WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Lead the architectural design and development tasks, including schematic design, design development, and the creation of all necessary drawings, calculations, engineering work, and specifications.
• Manage and direct the design team, providing guidance and support throughout the design and construction process.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Architecture and Design department, ensuring consistency and quality in project deliverables.
• Collaborate closely with the leadership team to achieve agreed-upon commitments and align with the company's core processes and operating system.
• Identify areas of improvement to increase revenue, improve profitability, and enhance efficiency within the Architecture and Design team.
• Attract, retain, and develop a high-performing team, providing coaching and mentorship to team members.
• Cultivate and manage healthy relationships with strategic partners and vendors.
• Demonstrate a passion for values alignment, focus, simplicity, and clarity across the organization.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING

• Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) or Master of Architecture (M.Arch) degree from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of 10 years progressive experience in the field, including experience in project management, team leadership and single-family construction.
• Proven experience in residential architecture and design, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful projects.
• Extensive knowledge of architectural design principles, building codes, and regulations.
• Proficiency in architectural software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar tools.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of successfully leading and developing a team.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
• A customer-centric mindset and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
• Architectural licensure is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $140,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
