JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a Course Administrator to manage the logistics and administrative aspects of the "Criminal Street Gangs, Basic & Advanced" courses for the Midwest Counterdrug Training Center (MCTC). The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth operation of the training program, handling scheduling, materials preparation, and compliance with all administrative requirements.

MAIN OBJECTIVES

• Coordinate course schedules and logistics with MCTC and other training locations.
• Prepare and distribute course materials, including student manuals and presentations.
• Manage student registrations, attendance records, and course evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with all administrative requirements and provide support to instructors.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with MCTC staff, instructors, and students.

SCHEDULE OF WORK

• Courses will be conducted primarily between 0700-1800hrs, Monday through Friday.
• Occasional weekend or evening work may be required based on course schedules.
• The role involves travel within the MCTC service area, covering 54 states and territories.

PLACE OF PERFORMANCE

• Main campus at Camp Dodge, Johnston, Iowa
• Various locations within the MCTC service area

PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE

• Base period of up to 12 months, with four optional 12-month periods

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 5 years of experience in an administrative or coordination role, preferably in a training or educational setting.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience with managing logistics and handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
