Being a Retail Store Shift Supervisor maintains store appearance and product presentation to company standards. Provides support to sales associates during peak periods or when scheduling conflicts arise. Additionally, Retail Store Shift Supervisor requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to store manager. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. Has no authority for staff actions. Generally has a minimum of 2 years experience as an individual contributor. Requirements- One to two years of previous leadership and management experience is required
- Previous experience managing department budgets and labor allocations is required
- Experience motivating and leading a team to achieve department and company KPIs
- Experience working in a Unionized Labor Environment
- The ability to effectively communicate at all levels within the organization
- A "Let's go" attitude through personal example; drive team inspiration by creating a profoundly positive and supportive culture
- Strong understanding of IT solutions and app-based services to enhance operational processes
- Streamline and optimize processes to deliver increased ridership and drive operational efficiencies.
- A willingness to work in all weather conditions outside, year-round
- The ability to perform assigned shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Has reliable access to transportation to and from work
- Possess a valid, active driver's license and a clean driving record
- The ability to lift 75 lbs
- The ability to bend, stoop, and stand for long periods
