Retail Tire Service Manager jobs in Michigan
Retail Tire Service Manager manages the service staff to effectively meet customer requirements and minimize tire service related expenses. Assigns jobs within the service center and dispatches road and fleet service according to customer requests or established requirements. Being a Retail Tire Service Manager makes recommendations for hiring, firing and disciplining of service techs. Trains service technicians and conducts new hire orientation; schedules other training as required. Additionally, Retail Tire Service Manager ensures that company policies are being followed with regard to safety, DOT and established operating procedures. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a store manager. The Retail Tire Service Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Retail Tire Service Manager typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Job Details
What you'll do:- Build customer relationships
- Assess customers' needs and provide Belle Tire solutions according to their needs
- Follow Belle Tire's Sales Process
- Manage a cash drawer; cash customers out and maintain daily cash reconciliation
- Meet and exceed defined goals and objectives
- Direct the workflow in the service department
- Handle day to day paperwork involved with retail operations
- Work well in a team environment with a positive attitude
- Do the right thing for the customers, employees, and vendors
- Continuous thinking and sharing of ideas to improve Belle Tire
- Other duties as assigned by manager
- 18 years of age
- Valid drivers' license
- High School Diploma/GED is required
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with co-workers, management and customers.
- Ability to lift an object weighing up to 75 pounds
- Varying work hours, Mon-Sat, some overtime may be required. Workshop environment, with heavy physical requirements and long periods of standing.

Pay Range: $45,000 - $65,000 / Year
