Retail Tire Store Manager Assistant jobs in Michigan
Retail Tire Store Manager Assistant assists the store manager with the day-to-day operations of a retail tire store/center. Ensures customer needs are met, complaints are resolved, and service is quick and efficient. Being a Retail Tire Store Manager Assistant manages the tire center in absence of the manager. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty or in a related area. Additionally, Retail Tire Store Manager Assistant typically reports to a store manager. The Retail Tire Store Manager Assistant supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes. Job Details
What you'll do:- Build customer relationships
- Assess customers' needs and provide Belle Tire solutions according to their needs
- Follow Belle Tire's Sales Process
- Manage a cash drawer; cash customers out and maintain daily cash reconciliation
- Meet and exceed defined goals and objectives
- Direct the workflow in the service department
- Handle day to day paperwork involved with retail operations
- Work well in a team environment with a positive attitude
- Do the right thing for the customers, employees, and vendors
- Continuous thinking and sharing of ideas to improve Belle Tire
- Other duties as assigned by manager
- 18 years of age
- Valid drivers' license
- High School Diploma/GED is required
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with co-workers, management and customers.
- Ability to lift an object weighing up to 75 pounds
- Varying work hours, Mon-Sat, some overtime may be required. Workshop environment, with heavy physical requirements and long periods of standing.
