Revenue Cycle Manager

Silver Hill Hospital is seeking a Revenue Cycle Manager to manage day-to-day operations of the patient accounts department. We are looking for a medical billing expert with 4-7 years of experience in a hospital setting, preferably Behavioral Health. In this role, you will report to the Controller mange the following responsibilities: 

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable.
• Timely management of denials.
• Actively participates in committees/meetings related to patient admissions, billing, and customer service.
• Responsible for interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing their work.
• Oversee billing and collections process to ensure consistent interpretation of policies and procedures.
• Ensure timely submission of all claims.
• Oversee monthly/yearly closing processes, including reporting and account balancing.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other relevant healthcare regulations.

Minimum Qualifications
 

• Medical Billing Certification and/or a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, healthcare administration, or related field. 
• Must have a minimum of 4-7 years’ experience managing patient accounts department.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office applications)
• 4-7 years of experience in medical billing
• Supervisory experience a plus
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
• Computer, analytical, and organizational skills
• Must have the ability to function optimally in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, or a related healthcare field.

Physical Requirements: 

• Ability to move light objects weighing less than 20 pounds for short distances.
