The Sr. Drop Ship Analyst is responsible for the execution of dropship operational requirements to meet the merchandising goals for retail sales, fill rate, vendor performance and customer experience.

They will deliver proactive communication and education of new vendors to drive adherence to the Bluestem Vendor Requirements and Dropship Process.

This person will identify and analyze dropship vendor performance issues and develop recommended corrective actions to meet agreed upon SLA’s and performance metrics.

The role will also enable and enhance critical exception reporting to vendors to drive continuous improvement in the management of drop ship orders, assortment, and customer experience.

This role is based out of our Eden Prairie, MN head office within our hybrid environment that has team members come into the office 3 days a week.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Analyze reports; develop vendor score carding; share data, resolve problems, improve customer experience
• Partner with the Buyers to resolve vendor related concerns; expand dropship opportunities with the vendors when applicable to optimize cost, efficiency and customer experience
• Collaborate with vendors to improve lead-time performance; prompt issue resolution
• Own Transportation relationship on allocation and SmartShipping
• Work with vendor compliance, business teams to ensure our vendor partners are in compliance with our internal operational processes, procedures and metrics
• Own shared data on KPIs with the vendor community, reduce infractions; improve customer experience
• Deliver the on-boarding and education of new vendors
• Write the scripts for internal / external communication reports; identifying surveys, communication for peak season, shipping, and manage select large projects, ect.
• Coach, train and develop more junior level Dropship Analyst
• Other duties or responsibilities as assigned

Required Qualifications :

• Minimum 3 year of inventory planning and analysis experience
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working in drop ship or marketplace environment with an online retailer
• Advanced Microsoft Excel experience (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Conditional Formatting, etc.)
• Basic PowerPoint experience

Preferred Qualifications :

• Works with a high level of ambiguity and ability to shift gears based on business needs
• Results oriented with strong planning, prioritization, and time-management skills
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate findings to all levels of the business and escalate issues
• Experience and comfortability navigating different vendor systems
• Ability to identify inventory SRD / EDD and resolve before it becomes a serious issue
