RFP Manager oversees the development of proposals, bids, quotations, RFP responses, or other documents describing organizational products and services in response to requests from prospective clients. Manages and meets proposal deadlines by establishing project priorities and due dates for the proposal. Being an RFP Manager collaborates and coordinates with internal contributors and subject matter experts to ensure content is complete, accurate, and maximizes business opportunities. Develops and establishes a repository of templates, standard language, product collateral, exhibits, and other data resources to create high-quality and accurate responses. Additionally, RFP Manager establishes a tracking system with win-loss information. Reviews and analyzes RFP losses to recommend enhancements to products or processes. This position will be a hybrid blend of local work from home and in person work at the HAP building in Troy, MI.
GENERAL SUMMARY:
The RFP Proposal Manager is responsible for leading the requests for proposal (RFPs), requests for information (RFIs) development processes, and ensuring adherence to the proposal process by creating responses to proposal questionnaires using HAP's RFP Database, interviewing subject matter experts (SMEs), and conducting research; drive the receipt of cross-functional responses to ensure timely and comprehensive completion of required responses. As an individual contributor, you will be an integral part of the team and will lead projects and proposals. This position manages all aspects of assigned Request for Proposals to submission and collaborates with internal stakeholders to support sales objectives for both new and renewing business.
