Job Title: Technical Writer (RFP Specialist)

Position Overview: HyperGen Inc. is seeking a talented Technical Writer with a specialization in Request for Proposal (RFP) responses. This role involves crafting compelling proposals and bid responses that showcase our company's strengths and qualifications to potential clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical writing, particularly in creating content for proposals and software solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop proposals and bid responses that effectively communicate our company's capabilities and solutions to prospective clients.
• Collaborate with sales and business development teams to ensure proposals are accurate, compliant, and competitive.
• Determine the most logical and effective way to present complex information for maximum reader comprehension.
• Generate innovative ideas for content and workflow solutions.
• Meet with subject-matter experts to ensure specialized topics are appropriately addressed in proposals.
• Understand process flows and develop/update Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) documentation.
• Create client user guides for various software applications.
• Review and edit content developed by other team members.
• Manage multiple proposals simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience as a Technical Writer, with a focus on creating content for proposals and technical business software solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely convey complex ideas.
• Proficiency in office technologies such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project Planning, VISIO, etc.).
• Ability to develop visual content, including business process flows and swim lanes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, mass written communications, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
• Willingness to take on new challenges and continuously improve skills.
