Risk Manager manages and administers an organization's risk-management programs. Implements policies, procedures, and controls to monitor and minimize the risk exposure of assets. Being a Risk Manager researches internal and external risk factors including economic, market, and regulatory risks that may affect the organization. Routinely evaluates the effectiveness of procedures and collaborates with internal stakeholders to monitor changes in the business environment. Additionally, Risk Manager manages statistical analysis and designing of financial models to predict the risk exposure of an organization's assets. Reviews risk analysis reports to ensure risks are identified and managed effectively. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Risk Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Risk Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required. The Role: Special Investigations Unit (SIU) Manager (FULLY REMOTE)
The SIU Manager works closely with senior management, sales, and operations to plan and direct assignments, provide expert analysis of questionable claims, oversee investigator tasks and work products, and to improve operational protocols.
This is a client facing role that requires excellent written and oral communication skills, and a customer / service-oriented mentality. On occasion, SIU Managers collaborate with and review the work of field investigators including recordings, statements, and reports to ensure accuracy and quality.
