This position will retrieve and reconcile cash, checks, credit cards and EFTs from the previous business day for both clinic and hospital. Record deposit information by payment type on deposit worksheet to serve as an accurate and daily source of information for revenue journal entries. Research patient accounts utilizing the payment billing system when information provided is not sufficient to process the deposit and to research lost payments. Once the daily deposit is prepared file the deposit documentation so it can easily be retrieved to resolve issues in a timely manner. Prepare bank deposit slip and deliver deposit to bank in a locked deposit bag.
