GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
ACH Returns, Stop Payments, Charge Back Items, Unposted Items, NSF Notices, Mail monthly checking account statements, Charge Off Accounts, IRA Accounts, Large Dollar Items, Quality Assurance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepares monthly checking account statements with corresponding checks from customer accounts. Ensures that the checks match the accompanying account statements.
• Processes all exception items.
• Responsible for ensuring the timely processing of checking account services while responding to customer inquiries concerning savings and checking accounts.
• Interact with branch officer and customers relative of areas concerning checking and savings accounts.
• Responsible for ensuring the timely processing of ACH transactions and adjustments.
• Perform maintenance on CIF.
• Assists with preparing and inserting additional or special documents into statement packages that are to be mailed to financial institution customers.
• Processes stop payments.
• Assists others in the Deposit Operations Department with clerical duties as necessary.
• Any other duties that may be appropriate to achieve the objectives of both the department and organization.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
None

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to operate computers and other standard office equipment.
• Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information.
• Good listening and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy skills.
• On-site Physical attendance. (remote work unavailable)
• Solid problem solving skills.
• Ability to handle confidential material in a professional manner.
• Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment.
• Bookkeeping experience, preferred.
• Personal Banker experience preferred.
• Ability to work additional hours as needed.
