Safety Director directs, develops, and oversees the general health and safety policies and procedures of the organization. Ensures the workplace is in compliance with OSHA and other state, local, or industry specific regulations and that periodic safety audits are conducted. Being a Safety Director provides programs that ensure a safe workplace including safety orientations, skill training, emergency preparedness, proper job instruction, hazardous material disposal procedures, and the use of protective equipment. Develops a systemic process to collect data and analyze the causes of accidents and generate required reporting. Additionally, Safety Director implements initiatives to reduce and prevent accidents, occupational illnesses, and exposure to long-term health hazards. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Safety Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Safety Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience.     Role Description:

    In the role of Construction Claims Account Director, you will be part of a dynamic team that lives by Safety Nationals give core values: Relationships, Integrity, Teamwork, Balance, and Stability. While demonstrating our core values, you will also demonstrate the knowledge of and capability to speak to Safety National products and service capabilities. Deliver appropriate level of service to maintain renewals in order to achieve corporate retention goals with the territory. You will work closely with the Client Engagement and Claims department among the entirety of the company. Your contributions of developing and maintain enterprise level engagement with Safety National clients, brokers and TPA partners will be felt throughout Safety National.

    Your day-to-day responsibilities as a Construction Claims Account Director will include developing and maintaining partnerships with clients, brokers and TPA partners for purpose of ensuring efficient and effective delivery of Safety National service capabilities. Additionally, you will facilitate interaction with other departments by providing an enterprise focused point of contact to address client needs. This includes tracking all issues to conclusion to ensure prompt follow through and resolution. You may also be assigned various projects like, working with client Engagement Analysts in the implementation of client engagement activities associated with account onboarding, account stewardship, internal account team strategy discussions and client specific matters requiring support and issue resolution.

    Participating in regional industry conferences that serve to raise the Companies profile is an additional responsibility that will be required. Demonstrating thought leadership through participation in Safety National webinars and other events throughout the year.

    Finally, you are responsible for managing overall claim services for customers in Construction unit. Actively manage assigned construction accounts and be responsible for overseeing construction liability (GL, AL, APD) and workers' compensation claims being handled by Third-party Administrators (TPA).

    The ideal candidate is someone who has a minimum of ten years' working experience overseeing and managing AL, GL, APD, and workers compensation claims for construction accounts. Some of the essentials skills required of you in this role are, being able to effectively communicate and flourish new and ongoing relationships, supporting and contributing to a team environment by demonstrating leadership and client advocacy, and advanced organizational skills with high attention to detail. Prior experience with Salesforce is preferred

    Qualifications:

    Education:

    • A Bachelor's degree is preferred

    Required Qualifications:

    • Minimum of ten (10) year's working experience overseeing and managing AL, GL, APD and workers compensation claims for construction accounts.
    • Proper Adjuster Licenses in all applicable states.
    • Knowledge and expertise with multiple jurisdictions.
    • 50% travel required to interact with clients and colleagues.

    • Advanced communication skills. Must be able to work comfortably with a variety of internal and external audiences.
