Safety Technician jobs in Ohio
Safety Technician inspects work areas and equipment to ensure compliance with company, state, and federal safety policies and regulations. Responsibilities also include documenting safety inspections, citing dangerous areas/procedures and recommending corrective procedures, and maintaining safety equipment supply and availability. Being a Safety Technician may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. To be a Safety Technician typically requires 0-2 years of related experience. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Work is closely managed. (Copyright 2024 Salary.com)

- Striping roadways
- Placing and removing pavement markers
- Shifts include long days, most weekends, travel and many nights
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus, but not required)
- Membership in Laborer’s union (may join after being hired)
- ATSSA certification(s) a plus but not required
- High school diploma or GED
