Recommends changes to current sales techniques, procedures or promotional efforts based on market research and new trends. Additionally, Sales Analyst requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. To be a Sales Analyst typically requires 0-2 years of related experience. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Analysis and Reporting:- Gather, analyze, and interpret sales data to identify performance trends and opportunities, collected from various sources such as CRM systems, sales reports, and databases
- Assist in preparing sales reports and presentations for management and the sales team, including creating visualizations like dashboards, charts, and graphs
- Support the sales team with client forecasts and variance analysis
- Provide data-driven insights to optimize sales performance and drive business growth
- Create ad-hoc reports and conduct ad-hoc data analysis to support business initiatives, extracting and manipulating sales data to uncover trends and opportunities
- Present findings and recommendations to the sales team and senior management
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to understand their needs and provide insights and guidance to support departmental goals and objectives
- Communicate information clearly and concisely to ensure understanding across the sales team and beyond
- 1-3 years of experience in sales analysis, forecasting, or related roles
- Strong proficiency in data analysis and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
