Retail Sales Representative Job Overview
An established Food Brokerage Company looking for a Part Time Merchandising/Sales Representative. Responsibilities would include conducting store calls to ensure product shelf placement, merchandising, occasional section resets, and code date checks.
We are looking for someone who is outgoing, detail oriented, works well both independently and as part of a team, and loves to merchandise!
Responsibilities and Duties
· Ensure all items we represent are in-stock, rotated, the correct price is displayed, and the product is detailed to ensure consumer appeal
· Resets may occasionally be required which would include the use of a planogram or schematic
· Determine and document out of stock items and provide a written report of those items to the store to assist with reordering
· Set up shippers and displays when required
· Establish rapport with Managers/Associates
· Determine opportunities to increase distribution
Qualifications
· Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
· Previous retail experience preferred
· Territory will include Seattle/Bellevue and surrounding areas
· Occasional lifting of shippers/fixtures up to 50 lbs.
· Communicate effectively via email and phone
· Must be friendly and outgoing
Scheduling and Compensation
· Flexible work schedule 20-25 hours per week M-F (typically 3 days per week)
· Compensation (depending on experience) plus $0.50 per mile reimbursement
