Role Description

This is a full-time Sales Engineer role with Teadit North America. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for daily tasks, including providing technical support, communicating with customers, managing sales activities, and delivering excellent customer service.

Details on Responsibilities

• Travel within territory identifying, selling, and supporting customer/sales opportunities:

o  Products & applications support with current customers in territory with goal exceeding customer needs

o  Focus on identifying needs/opportunities for Teadit products.

o  Teadit sites & national/regional contracts.

• Providing technical support, solving problems, and identification and implementation of customer benefit opportunities.
• Identify specific customer contacts at end-user sites and promote awareness and use of Teadit’s products, services, and technical benefits.
• Provide necessary product, application, and assembly training and hands-on field support at new or existing customer sites.
• Documentation of customer cost savings resulting from process improvements gained by using Teadit’s products or services.
• Coordinate with other Teadit departments to receive end-user approvals of Teadit products on necessary AMLs.
• Provide value to distribution partners by bringing them leads to new accounts in several ways:

o  Quote requests that come to Teadit through email or web.

o  End-user calls made by Teadit.

• Contacts sourced by databases, tradeshows, events, or other methods
• Present new Teadit products to distributors and end-users as they become available to the market.
• Maintain a favorable working relationship with all company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate which will be conducive to maximum employee morale, productivity, and effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Sales Engineering and Technical Support skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Knowledge of fluid sealing products and applications
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
