Sales Engineer uses technical knowledge of product offerings to advise and support sales teams with pricing estimates and implementation guidance based on customer requirements. Analyzes customers' technical specifications, recommends the best product configuration and installation process, and estimates implementation effort, time, and resources. Being a Sales Engineer reviews sales proposals for accuracy, completeness, and quality. Develops and delivers technical product presentations used to engage customers and prospects and educate sales teams. Additionally, Sales Engineer requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Sales Engineer work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. What You’ll Do- Interact with potential clients interested in learning more about FinishLinePDS
- Utilize virtual platforms for interactive presentations using the PPP framework
- Overcome objections with a deep understanding of our products and services
- Address common queries confidently and clearly during interactions
- Skillfully identify opportunities during prospect engagements
- Guide prospects through the RFQ generation process and update CRM system
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum 10 years in a technical sales role
- Ability to understand and articulate complex technical concepts
- Familiarity with virtual meeting platforms such as Zoom, GoToMeeting, etc
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
