Sales Promotion Manager manages, develops, and implements sales promotion policies, programs, and initiatives to support the marketing and branding strategy of the organization.     The Health Center seeks candidates for the position of Manager of Community Health Promotion to perform activities within the Community Health Promotion Team. With guidance from the Section Chief of Community Health Promotion, the Program Manager of Community Health leads Community Health programs - including STD, School Dental, Maternal and Child Health, and related community education and outreach activities - consistent with regulatory and organizational standards. The manager also supervises, and coordinates, activities of personnel engaged in carrying out program goals.

    Position Status: Full-time, eligible for hybrid Telework Program after 6 month training period.

    Duties include:

    • Reviews the workload, schedules, personnel assignments, status of on-going program work and projects
    • Assigns specific duties to personnel such as providing services; enforcing rules and regulations; enforcing local, state and federal laws and codes; conducting investigations or research; writing technical, informative, and/or operational reports and papers; or working on special projects
    • As a working manager, performs Public Health Nurse functions within the Community Health program, to include but not limited to STD/STI testing, Offsite Clinic events, TBI/LTBI Directly Observed Therapy. Monitors the effects of clinic operations by reviewing appropriate management reports, charts/chart audit, and customer satisfaction surveys, revises local policies as needed, evaluates clinic workflow, and adjusts clinic and staff work schedules
    • Reviews reports, papers, and other records prepared by personnel for clarity, completeness, accuracy, and conformance with policies
    • Actively involved/participates in all methods of outreach and public program promotion to include but not limited to participation on applicable coalitions or committees, as well as providing assistance to the Communications Specialist regarding the utilization of social media and the update, maintenance and development of brochures, flyers, and other program materials provides outreach in targeted areas of need
    • Manages Maternal and Child Health (MCH) grant
    • Maintains a program that meets agency strategy, goals, and regulatory requirements
    • Facilitates communication in program-related matters, maintaining strong collaborative relationships
    • Practices responsible stewardship of CCPHC resources/public funds, working collaboratively with the Section Chief to develop and manage the program budget
    • Maintains program SOPs and forms, works with Section Chief on development and revision
    • Monitors program performance and provides detailed reports, work plans and records to the Section Chief for action
    • Proactively provides feedback for improvements that improve quality, efficiency, cost savings, productivity, systems, and/or procedures
    • Ensures compliance with regulatory and CCPHC standards, and stays current on and advises Section Chief regarding program compliance changes
    • Recommends changes when warranted regarding goals, policy, procedure, and controls related to program initiatives
    • Utilizes data and continuous improvement processes to make evidence-based, forward looking decisions and to improve efficiency, cost savings, and productivity
    • Maintains accurate and organized program files according to Record Retention Schedule
    • Maintains strict confidentiality; adheres to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations
    • Reports for special assigned duties during a public health emergency, if applicable

    Position Qualifications:

    • A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university in nursing, public health or related healthcare-field is required; a Master’s Degree is preferred.
    • Two years of related experience is required; five years of experience is preferred
    • Two years supervisory experience leading teams is preferred
    • Excellent communication, computer, organizational, attention to detail and accuracy skills are required
    • The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong capacity to prioritize and complete a variety of tasks in a timely, accurate manner
    • A current driver’s license and auto insurance are required
