Seeking a part time (15-20 hrs per week) event and marketing assistant to manage the logistical and operational aspects of events, support general administrative duties, and assist the Executive Director with various projects. This role is integral in ensuring the effective execution of events and the ongoing support of marketing and promotional activities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Organize and schedule events.

- Coordinate with event partners and handle all related communications.

- Order, pick up, and transport products for events.

- Staff events, managing setup, product distribution, and breakdown.

- Maintain and sanitize the refrigerated van to uphold a professional appearance.

- Execute clerical duties, manage research projects, maintain the website, and monitor online orders.

- Complete additional tasks as delegated by the Executive Director.

Requirements:

- Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong passion for local food systems and agriculture.

-A friendly, flexible, and easy going demeanor.

- Self-driven with the ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and adhere to deadlines.

- Availability to work Fridays and weekends is mandatory.

- Prior experience in event management and logistics.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Canva, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.

- Capable of following comprehensive instructions with minimal oversight.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Associate's degree.

- Valid driver’s license.

- Capable of driving and maintaining a refrigerated van.

- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

Compensation, Hours, and Benefits:
