THIS WILL BE AN ON-SITE JOB
Location: Washington, DC
Responsibilities- Collaborate with clients to determine event objectives, themes, and budgets
- Research and book venues, vendors, and suppliers for events
- Coordinate event logistics, including scheduling, setup, and teardown
- Manage and oversee event budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources
- Develop and implement event marketing strategies to attract attendees
- Organize and execute event registration and ticketing processes
- Liaise with event stakeholders, such as speakers, sponsors, and exhibitors
- Manage event timelines and ensure all activities adhere to the schedule
- Coordinate event staff and volunteers, providing guidance and support as needed
- Conduct post-event evaluations and gather feedback to improve future events
- Bachelor’s degree in event management, hospitality, marketing, or a related field
- Previous experience in event planning or coordination is preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
